Egypt Woods, 3.30pm. One lesser spotted woodpecker. It didn't hang around this time but flew off north.

A pair of siskins and a mixed-tit flock were also present.

Hi Christine, thats a very useful map,though thats exactly where i spent quite a bit of time looking the other day -- with no luck!! Will try again. Incase your not aware there was a pair seen in Church Wood at the weekend but I spent a fruitless Mon pm and Tues am looking for them.
I did have half a dozen Brambling in the field next to Abbey Park farm including a couple of nice males. And 4 siskin in the SE corner of Burnham Beeches.
